Digestive Health
Considered, evidence-informed support for people living with digestive concerns.

Pharmacy
Where pharmacy training informs the conversation
Dr. Teja trained as a pharmacist before becoming a naturopathic doctor. That background informs how she considers medications and supplements, including possible interactions, as part of a naturopathic visit. A naturopathic appointment is not a pharmacy consultation, and medication decisions remain with you and your prescriber.
Context
Living with digestive illness
Life with inflammatory bowel disease often reaches well beyond the diagnosis: the unpredictability of flares, medications and their side effects, bowel surgery, and life with an ostomy or J-pouch.
Dr. Teja has personal experience of ulcerative colitis, an ileostomy and a J-pouch. She brings that understanding to these conversations as empathy and context. It is not a prediction of how any individual will respond to care.
Naturopathic care is complementary to, and does not replace, the care of your family physician, gastroenterologist or other healthcare providers.
Digestive care that considers the broader context of your health.
